Bowl Builder


The Bowl Builder is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by preparing fresh ingredients, building customized bowls accurately, operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, and maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe restaurant environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.


Key Responsibilities


Guest Service

  • Welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude.

  • Guide guests through the menu and customization options.

  • Ensure every guest receives accurate, high-quality orders.

  • Address guest questions and concerns professionally.


Bowl Preparation & Assembly

  • Build bowls according to guest specifications and Flameo standards.

  • Portion ingredients accurately and consistently.

  • Maintain product presentation and quality throughout service.

  • Monitor ingredient levels and communicate restocking needs.


Food Preparation

  • Prepare fresh ingredients according to recipes and food safety standards.

  • Wash, cut, portion, and organize ingredients for daily operations.

  • Label, rotate, and store products following FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.

  • Assist with opening and closing food preparation tasks.


Point of Sale (POS)

  • Process guest orders and payments accurately.

  • Handle cash, debit, credit, and digital transactions.

  • Maintain an organized and accurate cash drawer.

  • Support online and delivery order fulfillment.


Cleaning & Sanitation

  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, service line, kitchen, and storage areas.

  • Follow daily cleaning and sanitation checklists.

  • Wash dishes, utensils, and food preparation equipment as required.

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food handling regulations.


Teamwork & Operations

  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations.

  • Support opening, closing, and shift change procedures.

  • Assist with receiving and stocking inventory.

  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and standards.


Qualifications

  • Previous customer service or food service experience is an asset.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg).

  • Food Handler Certification is an asset.
