Bowl Builder
The Bowl Builder is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by preparing fresh ingredients, building customized bowls accurately, operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, and maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe restaurant environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
Welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
Guide guests through the menu and customization options.
Ensure every guest receives accurate, high-quality orders.
Address guest questions and concerns professionally.
Bowl Preparation & Assembly
Build bowls according to guest specifications and Flameo standards.
Portion ingredients accurately and consistently.
Maintain product presentation and quality throughout service.
Monitor ingredient levels and communicate restocking needs.
Food Preparation
Prepare fresh ingredients according to recipes and food safety standards.
Wash, cut, portion, and organize ingredients for daily operations.
Label, rotate, and store products following FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
Assist with opening and closing food preparation tasks.
Point of Sale (POS)
Process guest orders and payments accurately.
Handle cash, debit, credit, and digital transactions.
Maintain an organized and accurate cash drawer.
Support online and delivery order fulfillment.
Cleaning & Sanitation
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, service line, kitchen, and storage areas.
Follow daily cleaning and sanitation checklists.
Wash dishes, utensils, and food preparation equipment as required.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food handling regulations.
Teamwork & Operations
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Support opening, closing, and shift change procedures.
Assist with receiving and stocking inventory.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and standards.
Qualifications
Previous customer service or food service experience is an asset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg).
Food Handler Certification is an asset.
